Accommodation Service

Crowle Accommodation Service provides congregate care for 62 men and women living at Ryde. Crowle was established in 1952 by a group of parents desperate to provide an education and accommodation for their family members with an intellectual disability.

Over the past ten years a number of people have been supported to move into community accommodation.  See our Community Living Service and the High Support Community Living Service links.

Service Aims

As part of the Crowle Foundation’s Strategic Plan, we are in the process of investigating alternative models of accommodation to suit the needs of the current service users.  The residents, family’s and advocates will be involved in focus groups to discuss options and preferences.

This is a very exciting phase for all residents and family members involved with Crowle.
